A three meter stud rammed earth classic villa under construction by Modern Earth Homes. Designed by Felicity Christian Architect for a forward thinking rural client this large dwelling on a prime site had some geotechnical challenges which Taiao provided structural engineering design for as-well as all structural design required for the building. The high stud and large openings allow plenty of light into the villa while picture framing the stunning rural views. North facing openings ensure solar gains are achieved to maximize the thermal mass of the rammed earth.
